the day before slogged it out doing home agent til 9 pm.. dah gitu next day kena report at 8 am.. barely enuff rest. but the PM leave at 12 pm kept me gg for that 4 hrs.. was thinking maybe pat lengkok can catch some siesta.. but no..1st called mak hayden asked brg2 ape yg kurang. so did a bit of shopping at tiong bahru plaza. hegeh2 sikit so as to kill time coz i noe he ends only at 3 pm.. but because of hegeh2 lah tak dpt chan rest! msk umah je strt to d kitchen, at 1st mak hayden took out 1 packet of beehoon aje..  then sekali tgk bahan2 byk she took out another packet!.. my intention beli bahan lebih so dat she can keep aside for own use.. but tau2 she said "Ti, bahan byk tu, msk lebih lah, bole kasi cik ani, Kakak  and bwk balek maknyer sekali.." before i can respond she aldy tore the packet and begin soaking.. mampos.. i can cook, but not big scale. 2 packet beehoon is to feed a party!.. mcm kena test seh.. But Alhamdullilah i managed.. no experience msk byk gitu..and i dont quite like cooking to begin with.. so i cooked small scale split into 3 portions.penat giler, sate goreng and crispy chicken add to the variety and air sirap. satu jam pat dapur, make up cair. and berpeluh-pelir! exactly as i switched off the gas he called and said otw..seriously by the time mr hayden got home no longer in the mood to celebrate dah.. and being a darling he quickly whisk me away fr home aft the feast, to queensway nearest place with aircon, then to durian n choc feasting in the east..$10 worth of topgrade thornies. from $16, refused to get ripped off he managed to bargained it down to $10.He's my man for marketing! Plus had our fave kinder bueno and melty kisses. nothing R rated here.. im referring to that Meiji choc, really named MeltyKisses.. its cheap choc but taste and texture like expensive ones.. Menjilat jari, kaki dan lain2 lagi kiter mkn! Reli overdosed on those heaty fd. pat news kecoh org cherry berry.. and here we are constipated now.

 All those rich gd stuff and totally forgot the most important thing.. the bday cake!! which was left cold among the sayur2 in the fridge at home.. so malu, had planned to make d day special but failed. and he was the one doing the rescuing. and even worse had to tell him to tk out and bukak kek tu sendiri ltr at home..bt nvm as long as food was gd, he got his gift, neither of us unhappy nor dissatisfied..! now looking forward to 15 april and 19 april and 23 april..

Morning dapao kfc breakfast shared with hayden's mom and spend time at home just chilling until he had to report to CDA for ippt. Thats when the fishign idea came up. so he attended ippt and she went home for a bit of afternoon siesta. till he's done with ippt and all packed for our outing finally ms hayden showered and head to his place. choice between labrador and marina for the location. ms hayden's 1st virgin fishing thus those location for safety and the near distance from our homes helped us decide. Marina was d choice in the end.Its within a construction area near the barrage. parked at the jaga and walked all the way in. its quite well hidden.

Slightly before dusk we went, ingat nak catch sunset, but forgot sunset in the west so nothing seen there except the sky turning dark. nevertheless was still a pretty sight. from our past outings we've learnt to pack light. some snacks, 2 bottles of water, fishing gears all in 1 small back pack strapped to the tank and she carryign the rod.

upn arrival she set up the sitting area while he set up the fishing stuff. settled down and start snacking.. hehe. unfortunately low tide, had to go out onto the rocks to throw the line.then got this group of foreign indian workers curios with us! mr hayden being congenial pegila layan dorg while she looked on amused. with semi broken english they asked abt the rod, saw how he hooked the bait and throw the line.. we became excited just minutes later when we saw signs of biting. the workers lagi excited actually went down furhter to the rocks. quite dangerous. i cant help but tink, jgn lah kau jatuh dlm and spoil our day. but seeing the waves crashing harder they quickly came back up. mr hayden reeled in skillfully. takot the line snap and missed our catch. but.. unfortunately the fish outsmart us. ms hayden and the workers watched on excitedly.. line tak snap.. kiter bawak naik and saw. 1 prawn gone. the other one had bite marks.. ikan tu pegi skola gaknyer..pandai betol. took small bites each time missing the hook.. added the bait and put it back out again. this time round. we left the rod there. while we sat and watch. the workers left soon after. at 7.45 saw the last glimpse of the sun and became fully dark, tide coming up. waves crashign stronger esp each time when the coast guard passes by. we saw the line tighten but this time we chose the wait and see method. mr hayden attached a bell. to allow the fish more bites without disturbing them, we figured, they'll get more confident and complacent at the same time, will take bigger more bites and eventually get hooked. mr hayden taught her, once the bell rings and rod shakes and line became taut means fish is fully hooked and time to fight and reel in..

for mr hayden, 4 lines he prepared with the hooks. 1st one failure rite..the other 3 times also failure. whatever that took the bite was strong. a few times mr hayden was leaning precariously at the rocks with no safety trying to reel back. he fought and release but whatever that thing was, was smarter and stronger. 2 lines snapped. until the final one.. thot there was success.. but no, line was slack all the way,until it became taut for a while, when we pulled up only weeds was attached.. finally called it a nite at 10:30 after 3 plus hrs there. packed up and left. despite the lack of success we had fun. after the harrowing week and crisis we had the week before, it was a great 3 hrs to let loose. We get to talk, had fun and learn new things. one lesson learnt, is that its useful to check out the high tide times if planning to fish at rock outcrops. plus.. nak blajar tangkap crab next time. was full moon last nite. heard some myths waktu terang bulan is a gd time to cathc them and we did see some that evening.

emergency... i cant zip up my corset!! its only a yr old.. ive seriously ballooned this yr.. there goes another outfit..

last yr kiter brown.. dis yr green.. and my favourite shade of green. olive green! our intention nak carik purple tau.. but nothing caught my eye.. imagine 3 wasted trip to geylang. 1st with mak, then with kak ida n kids.. finally with mr hayden.. all 3 trips i braved the balmy weather, hunger, thirst and crowds.. because we went in the afternoon.. tapi unsuccessful. Success came with the colleagues and it wasn intentional at all. satu hari tu we decide to buka together pat fareast since its nearby.. after placing our orders at Puncak we still have 20 minits to spare.. so saje lah we dropped by marie veton.. i neva buy from there before. heard its very pricey. baju kurong oni starts from 200..ape lagi kebaya. my budget this yr 150. stepped in belek2.. the blouse-only section caught my attention.. soo pretty.. ada discount pulak tu! there was this whole collection of organza sulam with manik kebaya-blouse top. with the help of the salesperson, picked a few colours, lavender, mustard, olive. tried all 3, the olive got the nods from the colleagues.. and swipe went the card in 20 minits flat. success!! no crowd, no restless nephew, no exhausted bf to distract me.. n within budget.. happiee.. masalah nyer.. me n him supposed to buy together,, dah lamer plan.. n its not even near the color we have decided ie purple.. so imagine the lecture i got when i told him..

and that lead to another trip to geylang to get his baju yesterday.. i came prepared. siap amek pic from my hp of my baju to make matching easier.. went with the colleagues also. every stall jual baju melayu laki we stopped to recce. i didn realize there were so many shades of green. each time we stepped out unsuccessful, i got another earful of lecture from him..' tu lah beli tak fikir..' blah blah yada yada. in the end da penat, our final stop at this not so crowded stall with a very pushy salesmakcik.. we made the puchase.. altho im oni 70% sure of the color, tgk kan makcik tu very pushy.. and muka mr hayden pon da kemek and boring.. kiter beli aje la. tu pon aft guaranteed by the makcik can always come back and change. phew..  the rest of the evenign gave an orientation of geylang to my non-muslim colleague. maner sibuk nak try dendeng.. nak carik kuih makmur.. nak carik table cloth.. dorang yg tak celebrate aidilfitri lagi excited plak..mr hayden did well with helping Norin to bargain table cloth. from $110 manage to cocok the seller into selling it at $80. bole tahan kan? yes. mr hayden is gd at bargaining, i can attest to it from our batam trip. so in future soal pasar-pasaran that will be his responsibility.. im a fixed/nett price supermarket gal!

duit zakat utk bdk2 we decide to share this yr. the other day me and a colleague lina decide to pegi bank and tukar duit $2/5/10 notes. between us 2 we had over $1k worth of cash. we helped change for the family.. bukan duit kiter jek..we came with 50s and 100s notes. adalah dlm a few envelopes. which we snugly held in our corporate jacket. but we forgot.. our flat notes later on translates into stacks of small notes.. 1 stack is ard an inch thick. and we had more than 5 stacks! our envelopes earlier obviously tak cukup!!.nasib our corporate jacket came with a few hidden pockets. selit saner sini. and we end up looking ridiculous. all stuffed and zipped up. the walk back to office under the hot sun was sweaty and a torture! but we made it! sori kids if nanti duit raya korang dpt ada bau masam sikit ehk..

preparations for lali lala are underway. shall start baking in a few days, tinggal kain samping, corset and bedsheet aje nak dibeli. langsir carpet sumer recycle last yr. and oh yes nak kena mandikan kucing..

yesterday.. attended a beautiful wedding.. met the extended family.. met chef khalid..and.. the highlight.. I CAUGHT THE  BOUQUET!! hehehe.. yg kelakar nyer ape tau.. d bride was ready to throw.. sekali yg semangat line up dulu was mr hayden and this distant guy relative of his.. something wrong with the picture there.. so the guys embarrassingly stepped aside.. let us ladies queue.. and whoop da deee! i got it.. *grinss**
